Street parking on Jesus Lane is often available for minibusses and other high vehicles.
Approaching from the A14 Eastbound (The North, West-Midlands and Wales):
Leave the A14 when the M11 splits off. Follow signs for Cambridge; you should be in right hand of the two slip road lanes. Follow this lane as it turns into a single track road (Huntingdon Road); keep going until you reach a junction (there will be a Texaco garage on your left).
Turn left at this junction, and continue straight ahead at the next set of traffic lights (which are almost immediate). This is Victoria Road; continue until you reach a large traffic island. From here, follow signs for Park Street Multi-story car park. As you turn into Park Street, the theatre will be on your left.
Approaching from the A14 Westbound (Ely, Norwich):
Leave the A14 by turning onto the B1049 toward Cambridge City Centre. Carry on along this road until you reach a T-junction with a Texaco garage on your right. Turn left at the junction; this is Victoria Road.
Continue until you reach a large traffic island. From here, follow signs for Park Street Multi-story car park. As you turn into Park Street, the theatre will be on your left.
Approaching from the M11 Northbound (London, Stanstead):
Leave the M11 at junction 11, following signs for Cambridge City Centre. Driving along this road (A603 Barton Road), you will eventually turn left and reach a roundabout. Turn right here (Fen Causeway), and you will shortly reach a sequence of two mini-roundabouts.
Take a left at the first mini-roundabout, then right at the second (Lensfield Road). Drive straight ahead at the next two junctions; you will eventually reach a large roundabout. Turn left, and you will come to another roundabout.
Go straight ahead (signposted Park Street car park), and continue to the third set of traffic lights (this includes the pedestrian crossing). Turn right here; this is Park Street. The theatre will be on your left.
Arriving by Train
The ADC Theatre is a 5-minute taxi-ride, or a half-hour stroll, from Cambridge Train Station. Direct services to Cambridge run from London (four trains an hour), Stansted (three trains an hour), Birmingham; less regular services run between Cambridge and a host of other destinations.
There is a taxi rank immediately outside the station; alternatively, a regular bus service runs between the train station and bus station.
If walking from the station, proceed down Station Road to the end. Turn right, following the signs for the city centre, and walk until you reach a large traffic junction adjacent to the Catholic Church. Cross this junction onto Regent Street, and continue straight ahead until you reach the pedestrianised zone at Natwest Bank. Continue into the pedestrianised zone, taking the left fork when the road splits (Sidney Street, at Lloyds TSB Bank). Continue to the end of the pedestrianised Sidney Street, then turn right into Jesus Lane. At the traffic lights, turn left into Park Street; the ADC Theatre is on your left.
Arriving by Bus
The ADC Theatre is a 5 - 10 minute walk from Cambridge's Drummer Street Bus Station. Leave the bus station, turning right at the end of the station cul-de-sac. Follow this short street to the next junction, turning right into the pedestrianised area (St. Andrews Street).
Continue into the pedestrianised area, taking the left fork when the road splits (Sidney Street, at Lloyds TSB Bank). Continue to the end of the pedestrianised Sidney Street, then turn right into Jesus Lane. At the traffic lights, turn left into Park Street; the ADC Theatre is on your left.
