Looking to get involved?
The ADC Theatre is the hub of Cambridge's thriving drama scene, and is run almost entirely by students and volunteers. Whether you're interested in acting, directing, producing, designing, managing, building, lighting or crewing a show, the ADC is always looking for new faces, regardless of experience.
There are lots of opportunities to get involved throughout the term. The Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Club (cuadc.org)are the resident company at the ADC Theatre and the student society who administrate the Club mailing lists: emails that go out once a week (or twice a week in the case of the Actors' List) to everyone interested in the relevant discipline, detailing all the opportunities, openings or auditions coming up soon, for shows both at the ADC Theatre and at other venues. Signing yourself up to these lists is one of the best ways of finding out how you can get involved here.
There are four Club mailing lists: the Actors' List, the Directors' and Producers' List, the Technical List and the Designers' List. If you are interested in signing up to receive any, some or all of the weekly lists, email the relevant contact(s) on the CUADC committee: actor@cuadc.org, director@cuadc.org, producer@cuadc.org, td@cuadc.org, sm@cuadc.org or designer@cuadc.org.
Want to know more?
If you want any more information on how to get involved, or would like to know more about the facilities we have here and arrange a time to drop in and have a look around, email getinvolved@adctheatre.com or drop in to the Theatre between 11am and 7pm any day to come and have a chat: we will always welcome people who are interested in getting involved. Don't worry if you've not done any theatre before: most people haven't! We are a learning theatre, and offer training on all of our equipment and can always offer advice on how to take your interest further.
Not a student?
