The University Theatre Syndicate
From the Statutes & Ordinances of the University of Cambridge: "It shall be the main purpose of the University Theatre Syndicate to endeavour to ensure that the ADC Theatre is available for use and enjoyment as a University theatre, primarily for the production by University and College societies of plays, operas, and concerts, and the showing of films." The University Theatre Syndicate is made up of representatives of the University, leading University drama societies, and members of the management of the ADC Theatre and the Cambridge Arts Theatre. It is a forum for discussion and decision with regard to University drama in general, and oversees the management of the ADC Theatre. The University Theatre Syndicate is also responsible for reporting to the University on the financial and material status of the ADC Theatre on an annual basis. The Executive Committee for the ADC Theatre
The Executive Committee of the ADC Theatre is a sub-committee of the University Theatre Syndicate, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Theatre. The Manager of the ADC Theatre reports to this committee the Theatre's financial performance on a monthly basis, and the Executive Committee are responsible for setting Theatre policy, appointing the full-time staff and planning long-term developments to the building.
