George Orwell, adapted by Ian Wooldridge
Cambridge's renowned Drama School; The Young Actors Company, brings you a week of fantastic theatre performed by our talented young actors aged 9- 21.
"All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others"
When the exploited animals of Manor Farm overthrow their farmer, Mr Jones, and seize the farm for themselves, they envisage this to be the beginning of a life of freedom and equality. But a ruthless elite, masterminded by the pigs, start to take control...
A powerful adaption of Orwell's enduring parable on the perils of totalitarianism, Ian Wooldridge's Animal Farm presents a incisive, impactful dramatisation that remains faithful to the original text.
Presented by the Young Actors Company's Upper Stage Academy; directed by Patrick Wilson and assistant directed by Scott Johnston.
This production is recommended for people of all ages.
