His Dark Materials

Philip Pullman adapted by Nicholas Wright

When the children of Oxford go missing, it is down to Lyra and her daemon to save them. But all that Lyra knows is turned upside-down when she crosses into another world and meets Will.

As the threads of the universe unravel, these fateful companions enter an unimaginable quest that could change the course of everything. Follow their journey under the wintry glow of the Northern Lights, in the footsteps of armoured bears and into the fantastical worlds of witches, daemons and gobblers.

Philip Pullman's epic fantasy trilogy comes to life as a double bill at the Fitzwilliam Museum this summer as part of the ‘ADC on Tour’ season. Using a specially built temporary theatre and spectacular sets, lighting and puppetry, this unique production promises to be a theatrical experience like no other.

At the gates of the Fitzwilliam Museum, leave Cambridge behind and escape into the worlds of His Dark Materials.

Please do not bring large bags with you to the show. Food and drink cannot be consumed within the auditorium.
