Lady Falstaff

Tilda Borrows

The collector of souls, everyone’s view of her vaires.
Some think she dances in yellow round a fire burning blue,
Some think her partly animal, devouring her client, chew for chew,
Some think she takes the form of many mortals, just like you,
So they will not know which is which, who’s who and what is true,
It’s entirely up to you. Would you make a deal with Lady Falstaff.

This Brechtian play explores the implication of hungry desire, while holding themes of status and feminism. Although it is nature, whether literal or human, that will conquer every being.
