Everyone’s got a local, a pub where everyone knows you – this one happens to be at the end of hyperspace.
In the corner, a timelord drinks Sumerian Sunsets with a bounty hunter; by the gaming table, a human in pyjamas is having a heated conversation with a two-headed reptilian; and next to the jukebox, a young Union Officer flirts with a mechanoid.
Fusing elements of British Sci-fi and beyond, and bought to you by fringe-favourites, The Ministry of Unplanned Occurrences, The Asteroid and Tentacle is an unscripted show set in a bar in a galaxy far, far away.
The Corpus Playroom is owned by Corpus Christi College, and managed by the University of Cambridge through the ADC Theatre. The College drama society, the Fletcher Players, are the resident company.
The L-shaped studio is Cambridge's primary fringe space, showcasing a variety of productions, with an emphasis on new writing. Seasons are programmed simultaneously with the ADC Theatre.
Please note: This venue is not wheelchair accessible. More information can be viewed here.
Complimentary tickets are available for full-time carers.
