Management and Administrative Vacancies

The ADC Theatre is managed by a team of four full-time and three part-time staff.

Interim Technical Manager

The ADC Theatre wish to appoint an Interim Technical Manager for an eleven week temporary work assignment from Monday 22 April to Friday 05 July 2024. 

The aim of the Technical Manager is to provide a well-equipped and safe environment in which all building users can enjoy, learn about and become involved in different aspects of theatre, specifically technical theatre. The Interim Technical Manager will oversee the technical operations of the ADC Theatre and contributes to general administration. Those wishing to apply should have some technical theatre experience and should be available to commit to part, or all, of the temporary work assignment window. The temporary appointment will be made on a fixed-term basis for 36 hours per week. Work will be arranged via a rota which will allow for at least four days off every two weeks. Some weekend and evening work will be required.

Casual Vacancies

We currently have a full roster for our casual staff positions, but if you would like to register your interest, please send an application form to recruitment@adctheatre.com. We keep all applications for up to six months and review applications when we have vacancies available.

On average staff work 1-2 shifts per week but there are no minimum hours staff members are expected to work, or entitled to. All casual staff are expected to have some weekend availability. Please see the Job Descriptions below for further information on all our casual roles.

Please note that we expect prospective Duty Manager applicants to have previous front of house experience at the ADC Theatre or another arts venue.
