Jude Simpson's Poetic Christmas Cabaret
Jude Simpson
Jude Simpson
Acclaimed local spoken word artist Jude Simpson brings a wordplay-filled cabaret to the ADC bar. Expect festive frolics, songs full of Christmassy cheer and poetic playfulness, with a vibe that will range from the raucous to the tenderly thoughtful.
Jude has won three national poetry slams, and her family show A Noise Annoys was nominated for Best Kids Show at Leicester Comedy Festival 2026. She has performed at theatres, festivals and community venues around the UK, including Glastonbury, Greenbelt, Edinburgh Festival, Cheltenham Lit Fest, Cambridge Junction, and Hereford Courtyard.
The perfect way to warm up your souls for the festive season.
This production is suitable for ages 16 and over.
The ADC Theatre is Britain's oldest University playhouse, today administered and maintained by the University of Cambridge. Plays have been presented on the site since 1855, when the Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Club (CUADC) was founded, and the society met and performed in the back room of the Hoop Inn, which stood almost exactly where the ADC Theatre stands today. Today, the ADC Theatre is the centre of University drama in Cambridge, run almost entirely by students with no Faculty involvement.
This venue is wheelchair accessible. More access information can be viewed here.
