“Can you tell me how a celebrated Shakespearean actor becomes the assassin of a president?”
Barnum. Booth. Lincoln. is a new musical with original music, blending theatre, history, and spectacle.
Narrated by an older Edwin Booth and guided by P. T. Barnum as ringmaster, the story unfolds inside a circus tent of memory where performance and politics collide. As Edwin recalls his younger brother John Wilkes Booth, the rise and fall of the Booth brothers intertwines with the unlikely friendship between Barnum and Abraham Lincoln—one brother destined to become the greatest actor of his generation, the other destined to assassinate a president.
This production is suitable for ages 16 and over.
