Bottom's Dream
Based on A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
Based on A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
On Midsummer’s Night, the real and fairy worlds collide.
Deep in the magical forest, the feuding King and Queen of the Fairies cross paths with a group of amateur actors rehearsing a play for an upcoming royal wedding.
Magic and mayhem ensue, the cheeky actor Nick Bottom gets his head turned into an ass, and no one but the mischievous Puck knows what is true and what is magic.
Presented by students of the National Performing Academy’s Young Drama programme, this reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic will transport you to the most enchanting of midsummer nights.
This production is suitable for all ages.
