Content warning [May contain spoilers]
Orlando, written by Virginia Woolf and adapted for stage by Neil Bartlett, is a show that encompasses the history of queerness, the mutability of gender and identity. It is a rapid show that weaves from the court of Elizabeth I, right to the 20th Century, when Woolf was writing. It is an intimate look into a love story that existed outside of the fiction, propelling a radical character, with a radical attitude towards love, into print. A play that is about finding the courage to live as your authentic self, finding out who you are and who you love, with tenderness and comedy, this version of a classic is not to be missed.
This production is suitable for ages 12 and over.
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Nick Hern Books
